New Zealand Red Cross
The mission of New Zealand Red Cross is to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilising the power of humanity and enhancing community resilience.
New Zealand Red Cross improves the lives of people both here in Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas through our humanitarian work. Their work in New Zealand is focused on preparing for and responding to disasters and emergencies, supporting refugees as they rebuild their lives, and providing community services such as delivering Meals on Wheels.
New Zealand Red Cross are also part of the largest humanitarian network in the world. Together, through the work of 191 Red Cross/Red Crescent societies we reach 160 million people every year. As part of their work overseas New Zealand Red Cross alleviate suffering of those affected by conflict or crises through their International Delegate Programme, their resilience-building work in the Pacific, and by helping to restore family links around the world.
